When someone asks, the answer is already there: a live roster, signed arrival forms, and a record you can hand over — for every active site, the same day. Not reconstructed from memory three weeks later.
Put a QR at the gate and crews and visitors check themselves in on their own phones. SiteOffice keeps the record for NZ construction teams — no clipboard, no folder of paper, no chasing.

The gate QR, the crew’s phones, and the record your client can open — illustrated with demo data.
Open the live demo siteA sign-in sheet on a clipboard works fine — right up until the day it doesn’t. These are the three days that cost builders time, money, and sleep.
The Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 puts the duty on you to manage the risks on your site, and WorkSafe NZ can ask how you’re doing it.
You need to show who is on site right now, that they completed their arrival forms, and that the hazards were briefed — while the job keeps running around you.
Open the live roster and the signed forms on your phone, standing at the gate.
The sheet is half-filled, rain-smudged, or in someone’s ute. Weeks later you are trying to remember who was where, and so is everyone else.
Timestamped check-ins, signed forms, and reported hazards — recorded as they happened.
Insurance and certifications lapse without a word. Nobody notices until the one day it actually matters, and by then it is your problem too.
Expiring and expired cover is flagged for you, and the reminders go out on their own.
Six things that stop being a problem from the first week on. Full detail across twelve capability groups on the Features page.
Digital check-in, arrival forms completed straight after entry, toolbox talks that gate access, and a paper photo fallback where you still need one.
Arrival forms details →A live roster of workers, visitors, and contractors — plus emergency roll call from a frozen snapshot, with anyone unconfirmed chased by push and SMS.
Live roster details →Build a site-specific safety plan (SSSP) in minutes, publish it with version history and acknowledgements, then reuse it as a company template on the next job.
SSSP details →Link invites, plain-English status badges, and automatic reminders keep insurance, SiteWise, and SSSPs current — built in, not a premium add-on.
Subcontractor compliance details →GPS at the punch when your policy requires it, payroll and task-work kept separate, and offline queueing so a dead spot never costs you the record.
Timekeeping details →One H&S dashboard and a needs-attention inbox surfacing open incidents, overdue tasks, expiring credentials, and pending sign-offs.
Manager dashboard details →Workers and guests scan the site QR, complete required arrival or compliance forms, and join the live roster — without paper folders at the gate. Auto check-in is never silent: it always waits for the person to confirm.
Scan the QR
Place the code at the gate, office, or entry point so every arrival starts from the same check-in screen.
Complete what’s required
Arrival forms, toolbox talks, or guest details — the compliance flow blocks entry until the next action is done.
Go on site
Managers see who is present, arrival-form status, and a roster ready for roll call.
Muddy boots, no reception, a visitor at the gate who has never heard of us, and a job that finishes in eight weeks.
Three steps to go live. Gate check-in stays a three-tap flow for crews and visitors.
